The piece reconstructs an experience of moving through an industrial landscape and beneath a highway interchange in Baltimore, MD. The image cycles repeatedly past the same elements in the landscape, each time altered or juxtaposed against some new view.
Baltimore Overpass, was produced in part at the Experimental Television in Owego, NY. The project was funded in part by an NEA Regional Media Arts Grant, and had its premiere at the Washington Project for the Arts, Washington, DC, as part of the exhibition Art Sites Six. The installation has also been shown at the Arlington Art Center, Arlington, VA, the Fred Jones Museum of Art, Norman, OK, and the Weston Art Gallery, Cincinnati, OH.
